Greece - Part 2
We woke up in Mykonos on Sunday morning with nothing to do but get our butts to the pool! Dinners were fairly late (as they are in Europe) and Norah was amazing at adjusting her schedule. She'd either fall asleep at dinner around 10:30 or stay up late and party. We usually got her to bed around 11 and she'd sleep in until 10:30 or so the following morning (if time allowed). I was blown away at how flexible she was and equally grateful that she was able to sleep in so we weren't zombies.
We spent most of this day at the pool, eating french fries and amazing shrimp saganaki (shrimp in a tomato & feta sauce - SO GOOD). Collin took Norah up to the room for a nap and mama got her sunbathing on. Easily my favorite part of vacation. Some people are "adventure" people, I, however, am ok sitting by the pool for 8 days straight. (striped suit) (norah's pink suit) (flamingo float) (straw hat) (sunglasses)
We headed back to the room around 5:30 (it stays HOT in Greece well into the evening) and got ready for a night in downtown Mykonos. We had a group dinner planned at a beautiful restaurant but went into town a bit early to do some shopping and exploring. Norah fell asleep on the bus-ride in to town (not sure how because I was on the edge of my seat) and slept for a good half hour while I carried her around. This would never happen at home, but just one more testament to how flexible babies are!
Downtown Mykonos was beautiful - so many cute alley ways full of trinkets, souvenirs and beautiful clothes & handbags. We went in & out of a ton of shops, and I found one that I was obsessed with. SO many beautiful handmade clothes - I bought the girls a few traditional greek dresses and found an amazing pair of pants for myself. Collin is so not into souvenirs so he patiently took in the sites.
We ate dinner at Remezzo, which was beautiful. The food & drinks were SO good (had the most amazing cocktail maybe ever) and the overall vibe made for such a fun night.
Monday was another pool day (we skipped out on a boat tour this morning because the thought of keeping Norah from diving into the ocean was too much for me) and it was SO relaxing. We napped Norah at the pool, took turns diving into the water and had SUCH good quality time. What dreams are made of, friends. (stripe suit) (strawberry suit on sale!) (aloha head scarf) (collin's watermelon shorts on sale!) (black sunglasses) (necklaces)
We had dinner at Hippie Fish that evening which was seriously INSANE. Gorgeous views, the coolest, most hip vibes and such fun music. Definitely recommend this place. We danced with some locals, watched the sun set and just had the most chill evening.

I'll be back Friday to share the last two days of our trip and maybe even indulge you in our 30-hour travel diaries.
