Notes to Norah - 7 Months

Baby Norah:

We're quickly approaching some major milestones and I'm just not sure I can believe it. You're crawling, you almost say MAMA, you've found your little voice and you're eating baby food on the regular. 7 months has given us glimpses into your personality and we just can't get enough. 

You went on your FIRST vacation and absolutely were the best traveler. You slept the entire flight down to Palm Springs like a perfect angel, you loved kicking your legs at in the swimming pool, and you even gave us a couple poolside naps so we could enjoy a little R&R. You loved watching other people and smiled at all the strangers. 

Your favorite place to be is in our arms or in the Ergo, nice & close :) You are in LOVE with your daddy and you reach for him the minute you lock eyes. He loves this, a lot. You still find your siblings hilarious, but not quite so much when they jump in your crib and shine the light in your eye within minutes of you waking up. It's a mad dash to your door at first sound and I always get beat. Baylor takes his responsibilities with you very seriously and Bella and Winnie treat you more like a baby doll. 

You still don't sleep through the night (thanks for that ;) but I haven't had enough gumption to sleep train you yet, because I just treasure those quiet moments. I know before long, you won't need me and while I'll appreciate the sleep, I'll miss the still moments of studying your face or feeling you breath ever so gently. I've done this enough times to know that time is far too fast. 

We're officially over the hill and closer to one than we are to newborn. I'll be weeping in a corner... come find me with those crawling little legs.
