Nursery Inspiration

Well, who would have thunk it - this is my FIFTH nursery I’ve worked on and it just doesn’t loose it’s excitement. Nesting is very real and while all of my tried to tell myself to keep it simple, throw up a pack & play in my room and only grab the necessities, I just couldn’t do it. Our 5th baby deserves just as much pampering as the 1st and I’m HERE. FOR. IT. Seriously though, I almost didn’t do a nursery for this baby and I just couldn’t talk myself out of it - I wanted a cozy space for those wee hours of nursing and a place that this baby could call it’s own. I’ve started collecting a handful of little things but wanted to share some inspiration with you guys for what I’m going for. We don’t know gender so things will stay pretty neutral (but with plenty of color!) and I’ll add in some gender specific items once Cinco arrives!

I’m thinking more modern than I’ve gone in the past - white walls, black with natural wood accents and lots of clean lines. No vintage furniture this time, lots of pattern and probably some bold type. I want a large statement piece instead of a gallery wall so I’m still working on finding that. The rug I got is a HUGE splash of color - so I plan to use that for color inspiration in the room!
