Summer Favorites

We had the BEST mother's day weekend, and although this is only my 5th Mother's Day, it was definitely the best one yet! The kids & Collin woke me up with Starbucks & donuts in bed, unicorn balloons (Collin says: because you're a unicorn!) and a bouquet of peonies! We took a walk, stopped for iced-tea, played in the sunshine, and I even squeezed in a solo Target run. It was seriously the perfect day. We ended with a BBQ that was nothing short of heavenly and a sprinkler session before bath-time. SO MUCH FUN. My love language is quality time and after today, my cup runneth over! ;)

The weather this weekend has me craving summer so I rounded up a few of my current summer favs for you guys! 

RUBBER BIRKS: These are my go-tos in the summer for the beach/pool/backyard shenanigans. I've even thrown them in the dishwasher! 

SUNNIES: This brand is my favorite because the quality is SO good but they're totally affordable. 

GATHRE MAT: We use our gather mats EVERY day outside you guys! They have a new tablecloth as well that I'm hoping to add to our collection! The kids eat lunch on them, we use them for diaper changes and board games and legos and anything else you could imagine. 

CHALK PAINT: While the kids will still use traditional chalk, they much prefer these paint rollers - you just add water, shake and they're ready! SO fun and they last forever on the concrete! 

INSULATED CUP: I love drinking out of a stemless wine glass and this one keeps your bevy cool for like 57 hours or something totally unnecessary. But - I'm a complete snob when it comes to luke warm drinks (scolding hot or ICE cold please), so this little cup comes in handy often. 

SAND/WATER TABLE (ON SALE!): This table is SO durable, has a lid to keep kitties out, and doesn't look like a plastic POS in the backyard. It's SO good you guys! We used it last year for Baylor's John Deer party - these things are totally versatile. 

Summer is so close, I can feel it! Hang in there - the end is near!
