Life Lately

We've been SO busy squeezing in all the activities before school starts back up (today!!) - which I'm in total denial about - so depressing. 

The kids started soccer, which ended up being a total flop for Bellamy because of a coach that is less than desirable. She had some choice words about him & his ahem...behavior, that I'll leave out, but let's jut say she's not so impressed. So she's out, but Baylor is all about it and loves "work outing". 

We've been meeting teachers, having pool days before they're totally gone, and even took a quick trip to the beach by mimi's house. Winnie has really come out of her shell this summer, and she is basically our live in entertainment. The kids literally laugh all day long at her antics, and their current favorite game is to make her repeat anything and everything. Bonus points for potty or naughty words. #thrillseekers 

Collin has been insanely busy with his book that is launching next week (I'll share more ASAP!)  and traveling, so it's been a lot of me & the babes adventuring - which is totally exhausting, but means everyone's nice & tired at the end of the day! 

The WA State Fair opened last week, and we decided to be total die-hards and go the first day. We left with a bag of scones, a lot of sticky hands and very little desire to ever take 4 kids to the fair ever again. Baylor is already asking when we can go back, and I'm not sure there's enough coffee in the world to make me attempt. Stay tuned... 

Today is the first day of school, which means I'm frazzled as hell, likely sweating from all the people moving and without question bee-lining to Starbucks as soon as they shut the school doors. Happy Monday!
